The Hatchgate is a traditional country pub and restaurant set within rolling Hampshire countryside and Bramshill forest with its beautiful bridle paths, perfect for walks, rides and cycles. The pub is owned and operated by Penelope J Owen. It is a unique venue offering a relaxing, fun environment set over several different areas.
The newly decorated restaurant can comfortable seat up to 60 people for dining and large tables are available for groups. The main bar area also has the ability to seat around 30 people and the Bramshill room seats 10 for small parties. We cater for a wide range of events from birthday parties to corporate meetings.
We pride ourselves on our exciting menu offering traditional, contemporary and exotic dishes and specials featuring locally sourced ingredients.
The outside seating area offers covered and open terraces set around a fish pond and gardens where children can play and overlooking rolling fields. Dogs are welcome in the garden and water is readily available for them. We also have extensive free parking suitable for car and bike clubs to meet. The paddock provides an area for equestrians to meet and relax with their horses near by.
